ebb: Pomodoro Focus Timer

ebb is a Pomodoro focus timer that breathes. Instead of a bare countdown, time becomes a living scene: liquid light drains from a glass orb, the moon slides over the sun, a flower opens. You always see how far along you are, without reading a number.

Hold the orb to begin a 25 minute focus. When the soft bell rings, take a 5 minute break. After four rounds, enjoy a 15 minute long break. Every session you finish pours a layer into today's jar.

★ HOW IT WORKS
• The Pomodoro Technique, made calm: 25 minutes of focus, 5 minute short breaks and a 15 minute long break after four rounds
• Set any focus length from 5 to 60 minutes with a simple ruler
• Hold the scene to start, tap it to pause
• Phases never start on their own. ebb waits for you, with a soft bell and gentle words like "Settle in", "Deep work" and "Almost there"
• Exact time even when the app is closed or your phone restarts, with a countdown in your notifications

★ SIX LIVING THEMES
• Aura: a glass orb of liquid light drains as you work and refills on your break. Free, always
• Eclipse: the moon covers the sun, with totality right at the end
• Bloom: a bud in a glass vase grows into a full flower
• Classic: a real hourglass with falling sand that flips for your break
• Noir: pure black with only the time lit, made for AMOLED screens and late nights
• Tide: under the moon, the sea goes out while you focus and comes back in on your break

★ TODAY'S JAR AND SHELF
No streaks to break and no guilt. Each finished focus pours a layer into today's jar, in the colour of the theme you used. The shelf keeps every day you showed up.

★ WEAR OS APP AND TILE
• Your scene on your wrist, with a progress ring around the edge. Aura is always on your watch; unlock more themes on your phone and they appear on your watch too
• A tile with the time left, one swipe from your watch face
• The timer works on its own, without your phone
• Phone and watch stay in sync: start a focus on one, hold to pause it on the other. A theme you open on your phone is open on your watch too, and sessions from the watch fill the same jar

★ WIDGET AND DESK MODE
• A resizable home screen widget with your live scene, the countdown and one-tap start or pause
• Desk Mode: just the scene and a larger time, full screen, with the screen kept on at gentle brightness
• Made for tablets and foldables too, with the scene on one side and the time on the other

★ PRIVATE AND LIGHT ON BATTERY
• No account and no sign-in. Your sessions stay on your device
• Works offline
• Built for battery: the scene slows down when you are not touching it and stops completely when the screen is off
• Dark skies by default, which also saves power on OLED screens

★ PERFECT FOR
Studying and exam revision, homework, deep work, coding, writing, reading, creative projects, working from home, and anyone who wants to beat procrastination and focus one calm session at a time.

★ FREE WITH ADS
ebb is free. There is one small banner on the main screen, never in Desk Mode, the widget or on your watch. Aura is free forever, and each other theme opens for the rest of the day, on your phone and your watch, after one optional ad on your phone. The watch never shows ads.

Flow, then ebb.
