About this game

Your cards don't hit harder. They change who acts next.

Out of Turn is a turn-based card roguelike played in portrait. Every enemy waits in a visible queue, and every card you play reshapes it: push a Brute further back, make an enemy skip its next act, or turn an Archer's shot against its own ally.

READ THE QUEUE
The queue shows who acts next and what each enemy is about to do. Pick a card and a target, and the queue previews the resulting order and the damage before you confirm. Enemy moves follow fixed scripts shown in advance, so no hit comes out of nowhere.

BEND THE TURN ORDER
Five kinds of card, five ways to play with time:
• Strike – deal 3 damage
• Delay – the target acts 3 ticks later
• Stun – the target skips its next act
• Deflect – the target's next attack hits another enemy
• Shield – gain 3 shield

Bending the queue has a cost. Every Delay and Stun gives the enemy fury, adding damage for the rest of the floor. And the tide keeps rising, so waiting is never safe.

TWELVE FLOORS, THREE GUARDIANS
Climb 12 floors of Brutes, Archers, Healers and Bombers. Guardians wait on floors 4, 8 and 12: the Herald, the Weaver and the Sovereign, each with a longer script you can read in the queue before it happens.

SHAPE YOUR DECK
After every floor, pick one of three cards or remove one you no longer want. A lean deck gives you control; a wider one gives you answers.

LEARN IN THREE LESSONS
The first time you play, three short scripted fights teach you to read the queue, delay an attack and deflect a hit. Skip them, or replay them later from Options.

EARN ECHOES, UNLOCK DESTINIES
Every floor you clear earns Echoes, and guardians give more. Spend them in the Archive on card backs and queue frames, which change only the look, or unlock two alternative starts: the Herald and the Sentinel, each with its own HP, hand size and deck.

No ads and no in-app purchases: Echoes are earned only by playing.

PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE
• Your run is saved after every act, so you can continue exactly where you stopped
• One optional undo per floor
• No-colour mode: icons and numbers carry every state
• English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, switchable at any time
• Plays fully offline, with no account or sign-in.

Read the queue. Bend the turn order. Act out of turn.
