It's a nice game, but it's nowhere near strategic as it tries to sound - it's pure RNG with a pinch of strategy Items and spells are secondary to luck in draws. No matter what if you draw poor you will lose bad. I've had a few 12-15 draws in a row that makes no pair And most of it is hidden behind paywall, if you want to "unlock" all decks (even if you have crystals) you gotta pay (not much, but still not sincere with your players eh?) If not paywall and RNG unbalanced, it would be a 10/10

It has elements of games I like, but the experience is more frustrating than enjoyable. Success is largely determined by chance. More than half of my turns are spent waiting for a usable card draw. Some enemy attacks are telegraphed, others are not. Either way I never feel like I have good options for counterplay. Even on a "good" run I don't feel like I have learned anything, I just get lucky sometimes and have enough items to die slower.

EDIT: Turns out that my tablet can handle it just fine, it's my mobile phone that can't run the graphics properly. Which makes me think that either it's a problem with the device itself, or the app's new graphics weren't made with phones in mind. Either way, on that basis alone, I'm bumping this up to 2 stars, as the cause of the bad graphics rendering is now more ambiguous than previously. Still not worth it on phones, but now if ya wanna play this game, go for tablets instead.
