Twin Digital Sport Watch Face

Twin reads like a dashboard. A tall, condensed hour and minute fill the top of the dial, split by two dots with the seconds counting underneath. Two segmented gauges climb the edges, and two framed panels below hold everything else.

Weather needs one permission, once. Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so the temperature shows --° until you allow it: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, seconds, steps, heart rate, battery and step goal - works the moment you install it.

AT A GLANCE

- Left gauge: battery, as a percentage and as a segmented arc
- Right gauge: how far you are toward the step goal set on your watch, as a percentage and an arc
- Top: weekday, day and month
- Upper left panel: weather - a sky icon (sun, sun and cloud, cloud or rain) and the temperature in degrees
- Upper right panel: steps and heart rate (BPM)

TWO COMPLICATIONS IN THE LOWER PANELS

- Lower left, a complication for any short reading. Out of the box it counts your unread notifications. Swap it for sunset, the next alarm, a world clock or anything else that sends short text, and it shows the source's own icon, title and value. A progress reading appears as its number, not an arc, and an icon on its own also fits
- Lower right, an app shortcut. Pick an app and its own icon sits in the panel; tap it to open the app. Until you pick one, Wear shows its + sign

Either one can be left empty, and an empty one draws nothing.

CUSTOMIZE

- Color theme: Lime, Ice, Amber, Violet or Coral. The gauges, the weekday, the colon, the seconds and the readings change color; the big digits stay white
- Time format: 24 hour, or 12 hour with AM/PM
- Temperature unit: Celsius or Fahrenheit. The dial prints the number and the degree sign only

ALWAYS-ON

Dimmed, Twin goes to pure black and keeps the time, the date, your steps, heart rate and battery. The gauges, the panels, the weather, the seconds and both complications switch off.

GOOD TO KNOW

Needs Wear OS 5 or later. The dial and the Customize labels are in English. No companion phone app, no account, no ads, no subscription.

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Twin and tap it. Press and hold again and tap Customize to choose the theme, the time format, the temperature unit and the two complications.
