I started playing this game like 6 or 7 years ago and I've always been great at it. there are a couple little benefits, like the ability to click on the take for free even with an ad. But the ads take an ETERNITY. If there was no ads, this game for me would be 5 stars. But the constant ads is a dagger in this mostly positive review. But it's a fun game that you can do offline and I would recommend it. But don't say I didn't warn you about the ads...

After 1 year I started playing this game again. I've only been playing every other game, and for good reason. 1. They're removing lawn mowers in all of the levels, which is nothing new. 2. The ads. Ad before the Level, Ad after the Level, Hell, you have to watch an Ad to speed up the levels, which was added recently. THEN YOU GET A POP UP FOR AN AD BLOCKER! This game used to be so fun, now EA drove this into the ground. If you want to play Plants vs Zombies, play the 2nd one.

Plant's v.s Zombies 1 is hands down a total legend and absolute masterpiece. This is the original that started it all, and honesty, nothing beats the vibe of the first version. It's pure quality from start to finish. The gameplay is just solid. It's simple but you really have to use your brain. You need to strategize where to place your plants, manage your sun, and build the perfect defense to stop those zombies. It's not just mindless shooting, you have to plan your moves rigth.
