Taking down a star cause age restrictions should work better. When i was 17 ppl over 30 somehow could write me, and my set age preference for people only worked with ppl who are shown to me, not the other way around. Overall its one of the better apps for finding people really. I found my actual wife now after a year of using it (i was looking only for friends and it just happened to click) and i cant be not grateful for that experience.

(I was sold the minute I had to put in my interests and I really liked meme-like icons and thought heck yeah, that seems like a cool app). Then I spent several days matching and talking to people and 50% of them sounded like AI, and only later when I read other reviews turns out this app is flooded by bots. Fine, I went to the lo-fi bar (a 24 hour chatroom) to check what's up: a bunch of 18-20 year olds just calling each other slurs... Lack of moderation shows.

it was fun at first and really enjoyable, now it's stupid and on the verge of deleting. I've found if you're wanting to make friends in your country, you'll still be shown to other people in other countries. I also can't swipe if I like someone anymore, I had 10 swipes I think and it takes me to a page where I either pay for purp+ or watch ads, I have an ad blocker on my phone so I can't do it either way. There's a chat hub and there's a bunch of people talking and they all ignore you, don't try
