Wanna connect your soundbar to wifi? LOL! GOOD LUCK! 🤣 I spent close to a grand on my soundbar, subwoofer and rear speaker set all just to not be able to connect it to the wifi because of this worthless joke of an "app". Read the reviews, I'm not the only one and they clearly don't care to fix it for several years it seems like. At least the speakers sound good but will never play over wifi. What a disgrace, LG, I expected better.

If you live in Europe, perhaps it's not too late - you have 14 days to return your soundbar after you bought it. I would highly recommend doing that. Connecting the app will be either very simple, or very difficult, it depends mostly on luck. However, I would pay attention to another thing - HDMI eARC works 50% of the time. If you want everything to just work every day, it's not going to happen. Prepare to troubleshoot every other day. I am sorry you bought this soundbar.

Works most of the time but quite often the soundbar won't respond and I have to disconnect and reconnect power for it to work again. More annoyingly tho, it would be great if opening the app didn't automatically switch the input to Bluetooth every time. I'm opening the app to use as a remote and to access features I can't get to otherwise (like night time mode), I don't want it to change from hdmi/arc just because I opened the app. Would be great if that were fixed.
