About this game

Can you find the unique pattern?

Every pattern has a match.
Except one.

Find the unique pattern hidden among colorful shapes, match the duplicates, and reveal beautiful new compositions.

The Unic is a colorful visual observation puzzle about pattern matching, attention and speed. Easy to learn, satisfying to play, and increasingly challenging to master.

HOW TO PLAY

Look carefully at the board and find the pattern that doesn't have a match.

Spot the matching patterns. Capture them. Reveal The Unic.

The mechanic is simple to learn, but patterns can be surprisingly difficult to spot when they're hidden among similar colors, shapes and textures.

DISCOVER HUNDREDS OF PATTERNS

• Hundreds of colorful patterns
• A different puzzle every time
• Geometric shapes, colors and textures
• Pattern collections to complete
• Shards to collect
• Build your own deck
• Daily objectives and rewards

THREE WAYS TO PLAY

Choose the experience that suits you:

Chrono — test your observation skills against the clock.
Zen — slow down, relax and solve without the pressure of a timer.
Crazy Flip — turn the challenge upside down.

A VISUAL PUZZLE FOR PATTERN LOVERS

Love geometric designs, colors, textures and visual puzzles?
The Unic turns pattern recognition into a simple, endlessly replayable challenge.

No internet connection required.
The Unic is free to play. Optional in-app purchases are available.

There may be a 5 star game buried behind all the flashing and tutoring and timing and other irritations. That may be "ZenMode"? If I could get to settings or in-app purchases, I'd try Zen mode. Instead, I keep getting more irritating messages. The most entertaining thing is that I got here via a "most relaxing puzzle games" link. I would likely buy an alternative-universe "Zen Unic" app with no timer, no messages, but I'll probably delete this one. // Update: No change in my opinion. Uninstall.

Thanks for taking the time to try our game. While we're sorry you are not enjoying it, we still appreciate you taking the time to tell us why. We have taken your feedback into account in latest update and remove these "irritations".

Incredibly stressful, in all the bad ways. I like difficult games, but that's not what makes this stressful. Tutorial starts off on the wrong foot by not telling you what the "unic" is, and it's just downhill from there. Then, just when you think you're starting to get a handle on the game, they make it more stressful by rushing you even more. There may be a gem of a game here, but if there is, it's hidden behind a chaotic flashing presentation and increasingly stressful pressure to go faster.

What's going on? The game starts up with the music blasting with no way to turn it down. Okay, I play the forced tutorial to get to the settings menu. Boring and forced with bad music. Finally the settings menu appears! Finally ... except it doesn't work. You can only click the play button. All other buttons don't work. Huh? So the music continues blasting. Who made this? I play small puzzle games to listen to other stuff as I play them. Don't force me to do boring and irritating stuff this way.
