PiXL Pioneer

PiXL Pioneer — for young people ready to back themselves

PiXL Pioneer is a scholarship programme for teenagers aged 14 to 19 across the UK. It's built for young people who've had to work harder than most to get where they are — whether that's because of money, circumstances, or just not having had the same chances as others. You don't need top grades, a polished CV, or a five-year plan. You just need to be willing to show up.

Over ten weeks, you'll join a community of fifty other teens who get it, alongside mentors who've actually done the things you might be thinking about doing — starting businesses, leading teams, building careers from scratch. Every week brings one live hour with a mentor sharing the real story, not the polished version, plus an hour of activities on your own time that actually mean something. There's also a team challenge along the way designed to push you a little further than you thought you could go.

WHO it's for

Fourteen to nineteen year olds living in the UK who want more direction, more confidence, and more support figuring out what comes next — whether that's university, an apprenticeship, a job, or starting something of their own.

WHAT you'll get into

+ Live mentor sessions covering real talk on ambition, setbacks, money, confidence and choices
+ Practical activities that help you figure out your own next step, not someone else's
+ A team challenge that builds real skills through doing, not just talking
+ A community of peers on a similar journey, so you're never figuring it out alone

THE BENEFITS

By the end of the ten weeks, you'll walk away with a clearer plan for what's next, more confidence to actually go and do it, and £1,000 to help make it happen — whether that's course materials, travel to interviews, kit for an apprenticeship, or the first step of a business idea.

PiXL Pioneer isn't about being perfect. It's about potential and commitment. If you've ever felt like opportunities were thin on the ground, or that no one really explained how to take the next step, this is built for you.
