Magma 3D Watch Face

A 3D animated lava watch face for Wear OS: you look straight down into a glowing lake framed by a ring of cooled black basalt, bright molten rock in the middle and cracked black crust round it. The digital time rises out of it. The minutes are giant columns of glossy black obsidian standing up toward you, so big that their tops run out over the basalt ring, their walls lit orange from below and a white-hot ring where each one leaves the lake. The hours stand small and half-sunk at the top, the lake lapping across them.

KEY FEATURES
• Every new minute, fresh from the magma: the new digit rises out of the lake, molten sheets slide off it and it cools from glowing orange to black glass.
• Tap for a surge: light races through the cracks of the crust while embers lift off. It surges on the hour too.
• Drawn in perspective, so the obsidian columns stand up like real solids, not flat numbers.
• Three colors of lava: classic orange, a deeper red glow, or an electric blue sulphur fire.
• Your readings are carved glowing into plates of black crust floating on the lake, and the date is carved into the basalt ring.
• Nothing moves at rest: the digits rise only when a minute changes and the surge plays only on a tap and on the hour, so it is easy on the battery.

• Time: 12- or 24-hour, as your watch is set.
• Three complications: steps, unread notifications and battery, each on its own plate of floating crust. Put another app's complication there and it shows that app's icon and text.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
Always-on shows only the glowing outlines of the time, the ring's edge and the date, dim on black.

Works on Wear OS 6 or later, such as Galaxy Watch models updated to One UI 8 Watch and Pixel Watch. Made in Watch Face Format: no permissions, no data collected.

1. Install it from Google Play on your watch, or tap Install on my watch in the phone app.
2. Touch and hold your watch face, swipe to The Magma and tap it. To customize, touch and hold it, then tap Customize.
