Bring the Kenai River to your wrist with a clear, customizable Wear OS watch face.
INSTALLATION: Fishing reports require the separate Kenai Report Data app on the SAME WATCH. Install it, select Kenai Fishing Report as your watch face, and assign its Kenai complication providers if they are not selected automatically. Internet access is required for updates. No companion phone app or account is required.
THE FACE
• River dawn artwork, a deeper river treatment, or a plain black backdrop.
• Glacier, salmon coral, or warm brass accents.
• Centered digital time with two-digit hours, close AM/PM and optional seconds.
• Follow-watch, 12-hour, 24-hour, and military-style time.
• Date, battery percentage, and a moon-phase illustration.
• Subtle section dividers and a minimal time-only always-on display.
KENAI READINGS — WITH KENAI REPORT DATA
• Latest daily late-run sockeye count and season total from ADF&G.
• Count date and visible stale-report labeling.
• USGS Soldotna water temperature.
• Next NOAA Cape Kasilof high or low tide, with Alaska-local timing.
• Tap reports for details, fetch times, flow/gauge observations, and official links.
• A reminder to verify current ADF&G rules.
Reports request updates about every 30 minutes; Wear OS can defer them. Refresh is also available in the data app. Older cached reports are marked stale, and missing data appears as a dash instead of an invented reading. Outside the reporting season, the latest count may remain unchanged for a long time.
OPTIONAL EVERYDAY READINGS
Choose native steps and available heart rate instead of the river/tide row. Availability depends on your watch, sensors and platform permissions. The face does not initiate heart-rate measurements or record workouts. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
COMPATIBILITY
Wear OS 5 or later, with Watch Face Format 2 support. This product is for Wear OS, not Garmin, Apple Watch, or a phone home screen. Source links open in a watch browser when available. Other selected complication providers have their own requirements and data practices.
No ads, subscriptions, account creation, or developer-operated tracking service. Artwork is decorative and is not a map or a photograph verifying current river conditions.
