No ads. The levels are well-balanced. You don't need to spend money if you don't want to, until you get really far along. Prices / usefulness of in-game purchases are very fair. Very fun. Some buginess, but not bad. EDIT: My only complaint about this game is that the devs are no longer adding to the storyline. More levels, yes, but once you finish the storyline, it's over.

This is a fun game! I haven't been playing it very long, but so far, so good. There is plenty of opportunity to earn stars and power-ups, the levels increase a bit in difficulty as you go, and the storyline is interesting. It isn't loaded down with a ton of ads either, in fact, so far it only asks if you want to watch an ad to earn helpful things, it hasn't auto-played any ads! The only slightly annoying thing is that the graphics move a bit slower than I am used to experiencing in other games.

this game was fun...but it keeps robbing the player,when you are on your last play and use the bombs flask it's supposed to blow everything up and I've watched it more than 100 times automatically keep one thing on to where you loose either 900 coins or have to restart with your bonus pieces gone. It really has you spending way too much just to decorate places plus you would think that with their sister game it would give you better prizes or at least more than one star a game even the harder 1s
