It is incredibly easy to lose track of time on your phone.

A quick check can turn into 20 minutes of scrolling before you even notice. StayOff is an anti-distraction and screen time app designed to help you build healthier habits, stay focused, and get your time back.

Your attention is precious, and there is so much to discover in the real world.
You don’t need to uninstall your favourite apps or buy a "dumb phone."
StayOff combines screen time tracking, app limits, session blocks, pre-open pauses, app blocking schedules, and live usage tools in one digital wellbeing system.

Screen Time Tracking & Insights:
Monitor your daily phone usage and identify your most used apps. Understanding where your time goes is the first step to taking back control.

Smart Limits & Session Blocks:
Set daily time limits for any number of apps. If you aren't sure where to start, our Smart Limit feature analyses your usage and suggests an achievable goal.

• Early Warnings: Get a gentle nudge when you reach 80% of your daily limit.
• Continuous Session Blocks: Set rules to block an app after a specific period of continuous use, such as 10 minutes, to interrupt long, automatic scrolling sessions.

Open Pause: Make the Choice First:
Instead of just blocking an app after you've used it, Open Pause gives you a moment to think before it opens. When you tap a distracting app, you are greeted with a brief pause screen.

Even a short pause can be enough to interrupt automatic scrolling and help you reconsider whether you really want to open the app. You can take a guided breathing break, discover interesting websites such as positive news or book discovery, or view your personal to-do list directly on the block screen.

Live Usage Timer:
StayOff works as an app usage tracker while you use your phone, keeping your current app time visible so you can notice long sessions before they get away from you. This floating timer stays on your screen, showing your active usage time in real time. It is fully customisable, you can change its color, size, appearance, and select exactly which apps it tracks.

Flexible Bedtime & Wind-Down:
Everyone's sleep schedule is different. When you are in bed and want to watch one last video, start a 15-minute wind-down countdown. When the time is up, your apps are blocked for the night. It works well for flexible schedules, though you can still set a strict, fixed-hour block if you prefer.

Work & Study Schedules:
Block distracting apps during specific windows, such as 8 AM until your lunch break. Get your focused work done in the morning, then enjoy your apps during your break.

The 1-Day Detox:
Try spending one day each week without your most distracting app and see how it affects your focus, mood, and free time. You don't need to give it up forever—just try one day and see how it changes your routine.

AccessibilityService API Disclosure:
StayOff uses the AccessibilityService API to detect when selected apps are opened. This allows the app to display screen time limits, app blocking screens, focus schedules, and Open Pause screens. This permission is used strictly locally on your device. StayOff does not use AccessibilityService to collect, store, or share any personal data.
