About this audiobook

David Chen, a gentle and principled math tutor, runs Apex Tutoring to help students find joy in learning. His quiet life is disrupted when Lucia Flores, a passionate 17-year-old art student who hates math, is forced to join his class. Lucia is messy, late, and full of paint, but she challenges David’s orderly world with her bold spirit. As David teaches her to see math as art, Lucia falls deeply in love with his patience and kindness. She writes him a fiery love letter, but David, bound by ethics and duty, gently returns it, telling her to wait until college. Lucia devotes herself to studying, determined to prove herself. When she graduates and enters university, David reappears as a guest lecturer, ready to embrace their love. But their happiness is short-lived: a charming classmate named Jack grows close to Lucia, sparking David’s insecurity. At Lucia’s art exhibition, a misunderstanding leads David to break up with her. Heartbroken, both retreat into their work. A hidden unsent letter reveals David’s long-buried feelings, but will Lucia find it in time to heal their broken love?
