"Jennifer Killick has become the go-to horror writer for readers aged nine and over ... readers are as likely to howl with laughter as with terror.” – The Sunday Times
When 12-year-old friends Sonny, Djed and Neska sneak into an abandoned house and find a spooky old board game, they don’t think anything will happen if they just play a quick game ... But they unintentionally end up releasing The Lurkers – wicked little creatures formed from dark matter who are intent on destroying everything around them!
Can the three friends work out what The Lurkers want, and how to lock them away again before they escape into the world and unleash total chaos?
