O autoru
E. M. Forster (1879–1970) was an acclaimed English novelist and essayist whose work sharply dissected Edwardian class rigidity, human connection, and cultural hypocrisy in celebrated masterworks like A Room with a View, Howards End, and A Passage to India. With his eerily prescient 1909 novella “The Machine Stops,” Forster made a singular, visionary detour into science fiction, astonishingly forecasting the internet, video calling, and humanity’s total technological alienation more than a century ahead of his time.
Called “a master in his field” by The New York Times and “in a class by himself” by Oprah Daily, Edoardo Ballerini is an award-winning and celebrated narrator of audiobooks.
