Sand Trap

SAND TRAP

A Weird & Whacky Florida Mystery

⛳ A wealthy developer dies in a golf course sand trap.

🌴 Everyone calls it a heart attack.

🕵️ Danny “Gumbo” Malone calls it murder.

When prominent Florida real estate mogul Victor Dellacroce collapses face-first in the pristine white sand of the exclusive Osprey Dunes Golf Club, local authorities are ready to close the case before the grass dries. Old man. Midnight golf. Bad heart. End of story.

Except Gumbo notices the details nobody else sees.

The missing flask.

The strange footprints.

The irrigation panel with fresh tool marks.

And a widow who seems a little too prepared for grief.

Hired by the victim’s daughter, Gumbo dives into a dangerous Gulf Coast conspiracy involving luxury real estate schemes, offshore debt networks, compounding pharmacies, cartel-connected money laundering, and a murder method designed to look completely natural.

As the investigation stretches from elite country clubs and waterfront developments to hidden marsh access ramps and isolated Florida backwaters, Gumbo uncovers a carefully orchestrated operation involving:

💰 corrupt land deals

💉 pharmaceutical murder plots

🚤 covert airboat routes through the Gulf marshes

📱 satellite phone calls in the middle of the night

🏌️ country club secrets

🐊 Florida organized crime networks

⚰️ suspicious “natural causes” deaths

The deeper Gumbo digs, the clearer it becomes:

Victor Dellacroce wasn’t the first victim.

And somebody powerful is still cleaning up loose ends.
