Nefarious

Mitch Black had it all―he’d married his college sweetheart Sandra and purchased a beautiful home in the south suburbs of Chicago, he was gainfully employed as a financial analyst, and he co-owned a nightclub with his cousin, Wesley Hunter. He also became a millionaire before the age of thirty by skillfully playing the stock market with his economic expertise.

The story starts off with Mitch running into his college roommate and teammate, Gary Maxwell. Gary was booted off the basketball team and out of school for selling drugs, and it had been roughly seven years since they had seen each other. Gary was also still down on his luck because he’d lost his job and needed rent money to stay afloat. Mitch felt compelled to help Gary and gave him the money, and they had breakfast like old times so that they could catch up afterward.

Life for Mitch was good―he had the luxury of ditching work for the day in order to hang out with his old friend, and after eating breakfast, he linked up with his ex-girlfriend from high school and current mistress, Jada Sims, for lunch after flagging her down on DePaul University’s campus. They had run into each other one night while shopping at Target and began their torrid affair shortly afterward.

However, a weakness of his that would soon prove to be his downfall was philandering with multiple women whenever he could squeeze them into his busy schedule. He met a beautiful and dangerously seductive woman named Brea Jones the same night at his nightclub, and the two of them seemingly hit it off right away. He already had his hands full with Jada, who he secretly dated for two years, and he had the full-time job of keeping his wife happy. Nevertheless, Brea had his undivided attention from the moment that he saw her, and his lapse in judgment would ultimately cost him everything. Nefarious is an urban fiction crime drama that will undoubtedly captivate its audience.
