Cabin 1 (Steele Shadows Security): Book One

After a brutal roadside attack, prosecutor Niki Avery is forced into hiding at a remote security compound deep in the wilderness. She has no choice but to submit to the protection of a former Marine—a loose cannon with a temper as scorching as his looks.

Gage Steele never wanted to return to his small hometown, let alone take over his late father’s elite security firm. But the moment he lays eyes on Niki, he’s hooked.

As cracks begin to show in the Steele family—including new evidence that their father’s death was no accident—Gage wrestles with growing feelings for his client, knowing Niki is strictly off-limits.

But when danger closes in, he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her…

Even if it means losing everything else.
