This is my first experience reading Aristotle. While I can't compare this translation to any other I can say that I found it clear and as easy to read as a text like this permits. The introduction is brilliant in its explanation of how Aristotle thinks and the notes are phenomenally helpful, extensive, and fascinating. The Nichomachean Ethics certainly lives up to its reputation as a foundational contribution to moral philosophy and a treatise with much to learn and reflect on, no matter what age we find ourselves in. Five stars for both Aristotle and C.D.C. Reeve.
