Case File 13: Zombie Kid
Om denne e-bog
Case File 13: Zombie Kid follows three monster-obsessed friends who must solve fiendishly funny mysteries in their creepy hometown. Nick, Carter, and Angelo are obsessed with all things monster. And every Halloween they get to show off their monster-knowledge with elaborate homemade costumes. But this year, a surprise trip to the house of an aunt who may have been a voodoo queen throws a major wrench into the boys’ Halloween plans and lands Nick with a cursed amulet that turns him into a real, live (well, undead) zombie.
To Nick and his friends, this is . . . awesome! At first. Then the whole zombie thing starts to get a little out of hand (literally), and the boys have to go on a chilling adventure to reverse the curse. One that involves a talking cat, a skeleton who likes candy corn, and even the dreaded Zombie King himself.
- Funny Books for Kids: Nick, Carter, and Angelo think turning into a zombie is the coolest thing ever. At least, until Nick’s body parts start falling off at the worst possible moments.
- Spooky-Fun Adventure: Join a wild quest featuring a mysterious talking cat, a skeleton with a serious candy corn addiction, and the dreaded Zombie King.
- Friendship and Monsters: Perfect for young readers who love stories about loyal best friends who are completely obsessed with monsters, costumes, and all things creepy.
- A Hilarious Zombie Story: What happens when a cursed amulet turns you into a real-life (well, undead) zombie right before Halloween? For Nick, it’s a dream come true… and a total nightmare.

J. Scott Savage has returned after being lost in a Mexican rainforest. His office is now filled with Mayan scrolls, hieroglyphics, artifacts, and star charts. His children and children-in-law, Big Nick, Erica, Scott, Natalie, Jake, and Little Nick, look pale and claim to be cursed. His grandchildren, Gray, Lizzie, and Jack, are heavily wrapped in mummy-like bandages. And his wife, Jennifer, has reportedly been seen glowing green and hexing the neighbors.
