About this ebook

Finding a stranger’s underwear in her husband’s car turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to Finley. Now that her divorce is nearly final, she couldn’t be happier. He’s free to live out his mid-life crisis dream of being in a crappy rock band and banging all the wannabe groupies he likes, and she can focus on building a stable life for their three kids.

After a year of living with her parents, Finley has her own home again. All that’s left now is to renovate her rundown house and for that, she’ll need help. Maybe Travis, the sexy handyman she’s seen working across the street, is available?

Travis is exactly the kind of man Fin is looking for. He’s nice, stable, and has a good job. And, most importantly, he’s not a musician. Sure, his brother is in the band Sleeping Dogs, and he plays guitar too, but he’s not in the band, so he’s safe. Right?

Not surprising, this book was not a funny as the others. Since Travis was such a background character, it was to be expected. He was a sweetheart, but also a coward; not just for helping up the lie to Finley, but not facing his feelings about continuing in the band. I didn't care that much for Finley because of the way she judged rockstars. It was no wonder why Travis was hesitant to tell her the truth. They were good enough to accept favors from, but not to date? I enjoyed Travis's relationship with her kids, especially Braeden. This book was supposed to take place at the same time as the others, but it didn't line up. With all the hub bub about the issues with being in a band and the up coming tour, the ending left that floating. After reading this series, I noticed that every book had parenting issue, as in horrible parents. Kind of makes me wonder what's on the author's mind. Will we ever find out what happens with Devon and Zena?

About the author

Chantal Roome writes contemporary romantic comedies. She loves writing love stories with just the right mix of love, humour, and sex.

When Chantal isn’t writing she’s drinking way too much coffee, binge reading, and living out her own second chance romance with her husband. She’s also a mediocre mom to two frustrating, but hilarious and endlessly loveable kids, one dog who has eaten every toy he’s ever been given, and another dog who wants nothing more than to chew everything with her tiny puppy shark teeth.
