Frankenstein (The Gothic Chronicles Collection): Deluxe Edition
ამ ელწიგნის შესახებ
Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein recounts the chilling tale of Victor Frankenstein, an ambitious young scientist consumed by his obsession to uncover the origin of life. In his laboratory, he constructs a being from exhumed body parts and animates it, only to recoil in horror from his monstrous creation. Isolated and reviled, the creature craves connection and ultimately seeks revenge, turning on his maker. Their relentless chase traverses mountain peaks and arctic wastes, concluding in devastation and regret. Interweaving Gothic horror with probing philosophical themes, Shelley's novel interrogates ambition, alienation, and the profound consequences of defying natural boundaries in the pursuit of knowledge.
Frankenstein is the fifth in the Gothic Chronicles series, which includes Bram Stoker's Dracula, Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, Dante's Inferno, and a volume of Edgar Allan Poe's best-known short stories.
