I was forced to give it a one star rating, if I could it would be a negative 5. This e-book is advertised as 65 pages of dog training secrets, it's really closer to 8 pages of a basic overview of how one might go about training a dog, there are no tactics or anything that anyone would consider a secret. The author starts the book off with how you should choose a breeder to get a dog from and that goes on and on for many pages, um, what about all of the rescue dogs out there? The book is very wordy and spends a lot of time on non training subjects, more like this guys opinion of what training may be like, it really reads more like what is a dog 101. Some of the 65 very, very small pages are no more than a sentence long, when I say small I'm talking about cell phone small, there's no reason to zoom in or anything like that, the font is already very large to make it seem like the book is, well a book. It's more like a pamphlet. Now that you have read my review I can guarantee you one thing, you have learned MORE about training a dog than you will in this garbage.

The "sample" was comprised of picture of the cover and applicable laws governing reproduction. Not even a HINT toward type of methodology used. If that stingy with sample, DO NOR throw $ at an I grate only out for almighty $!!

This is a very easy to follow, effective book for training dogs. This is NOT a book for owners with dog problems (or dogs with owner problems). If you just want to train your dog by using proven, conditioning techniques, then this is the book for you. In a nutshell, this book teaches you how to ensure that your dog is paying attention to you at all times, and either obeys your commands, or suffers the consequences of his actions. This is NOT punishment. The dog decides. The dog learns. The dog obeys because he decides to obey. This not only gives him self-confidence, but also gives him a feeling of security because he knows he is doing the right thing. Dogs crave this. They WANT to please you. Love this book
