About this ebook

This begins the way most beautiful things do — quietly.

Two people meet.

They promise forever before they understand what forever demands.

They mistake intensity for destiny.

And somewhere between devotion and damage, something starts to shift — not loud enough to alarm anyone, just subtle enough to ignore.

This story walks through the slow unraveling of love.

Not the cinematic kind. The real kind. The kind that feels sacred one day and suffocating the next.

What happens when love stops feeling safe, but you stay anyway?

What happens when trust doesn’t collapse in a single betrayal — but erodes, grain by grain — until you no longer recognize yourself inside the relationship?

This book doesn’t hunt for villains.

It explores fear.

Attachment that feels like oxygen.

Care that slowly turns into control.

And the quiet moment when you realize that fighting for someone might be costing you yourself.

Every chapter leans toward a question most people are afraid to ask:

Was it love — or just two broken people trying to heal inside each other and ending up bleeding instead?

If you have ever stayed longer than you should have…

If you have ever renamed red flags as “patience”…

If you have ever loved someone so deeply that your self-respect began to fade…

You won’t simply read this story.

You will feel seen by it.

And once you begin, it won’t be easy to stop — because somewhere between these pages, you may find your own unfinished chapter waiting for you.

Read it.

But step inside carefully.

This begins the way most beautiful things do — quietly. Two people meet. They promise forever before they understand what forever demands. They mistake intensity for destiny. And somewhere between devotion and damage, something starts to shift — not loud enough to alarm anyone, just subtle enough...

The twists in the final quarter of the book truly surprised me and added real depth to the story. The ending, especially the symbolic journey of the ring, was thoughtfully written and emotionally resonant. It is striking to witness such life lessons unfolding at a young age. Shasi's immaturity and repeated poor decisions ultimately shape the outcome in a very believable way. Although Krish is not a professional author,he is undeniably a sincere and compelling storyteller.

A friend recommended this book to me but couldn't finish it, so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I almost left it midway too, I felt quite overwhelmed. But after Chapter 12, the story truly kicks in. It turns into such a tragic, raw biography. I have to salute the author's honesty for just putting his POV out there without filters. I really hope you write a sequel when your arc iscomplete.

spoiler alert - in my opinion Anna's arc was pointless. I know it contributed in breaking down your mental state, trust issues and so on and the main story is focused on shasi and krish, so I think Anna's arc was a stretch and dude honestly the ending was worth the time and it was an open ending which is good and subjective for readers

About the author

I am not a professional writer, and I never claimed to be one. I am just an ordinary human who decided to put his experiences into words before time could soften them.

The book was not written to impress. It was written to express.

Every chapter carries emotions that were once lived in real time — confused, imperfect, and deeply human.

If this story connects with you even a little, then it has done its job.
