This book is quite complicated due to its multiple POVs. The shifting perspectives feel unstable and confusing, especially combined with the lack of background story, which makes the beginning difficult to grasp. Furthermore, the romantic development takes too long for the lovers to realize their feelings, yet the sparks between them are barely there. To top it off, the ending drags on with too many unnecessary scenes.
