About this ebook

New York Times bestselling author Morgan Matson’s blockbuster novel about a shy teen having the most unexpected summer ever!

The Pre-Sloane Emily didn’t go to parties, she barely talked to guys, she didn’t do anything crazy. Enter Sloane, social tornado and the best kind of best friend—the one who yanks you out of your shell.

But right before what should have been an epic summer, Sloane just…disappears. No note. No calls. No texts. No Sloane. There’s just a random to-do list. On it, thirteen Sloane-selected-definitely-bizarre-tasks that Emily would never try…unless they could lead back to her best friend.

Apple Picking at Night? Ok, easy enough.

Dance Until Dawn? Sure. Why not?

Kiss a Stranger? Wait…what?

Getting through Sloane’s list would mean a lot of firsts. But Emily has this whole unexpected summer ahead of her, and the help of Frank Porter (totally unexpected) to check things off. Who knows what she’ll find?

Go Skinny Dipping? Um…

The reason I cut off a star was the length. At some points I felt the book was a bit dragged and the beginning three chapters were quite boring..........but.....I am happy I didn't give up on this book because it turned out to be interesting from fourth chapter, Emily making new friends and how she copes up to stand by the various situations with them was really nice. Collins, Frank and Dawn were unique in their own ways and impacted Emily's life in a new way. As far the list is concerned, that was also good and well executed and the ending, actually could be better.

This book is one of the best books I have ever read, and this is coming from someone who's read a lot of books. This book shows friendship, courage, adventure and just makes you really realize the true meaning of friendship. This book is filled with laughs and tears. I really hope there's a sequel.

I love this book! I like how during the process of doing the list she didn't just wanna find her best friend, she found love too.
