この電子書籍について

A life converted into pages, one breath at a time. Oxygen Turned Into Chapters is a selected edition, drawn from Even When, Life Experience Too, A Double Star System, and What Can I Say. It is a focused cross-section on survival, love, attention, and meaning made honestly, a way into a large body of work without the whole shelf. The title is the argument. A life, turned into chapters, breath by breath. Where the mosaic Slices of Life Experience is the wide, generous mixtape, this is the tighter, breath-held selection, the poems that feel most like a lung filling and emptying. It reads as a single coherent arc rather than a sampler. What it selects for is breath: the poems where staying alive and paying attention turn out to be the same act. By a poet whose work spans 25 years and roughly 100 countries. It is the doorway edition. Read it, and you will know exactly which of the full collections you want to walk into next. For readers who want a focused, high-quality introduction to the collections in one volume. A short book with a full life inside it. Start here and you will keep reading.

Shaun J Apple is an American author, poet, and publisher whose work draws on a life shaped by travel, family, online communities, illness, and change. He founded r/trees and r/gonewild and helped administer Bluelight, one of the internet’s largest harm-reduction communities. His work spans memoir, poetry, philosophy, relationships, politics, travel, humor, and children’s literature, united by a conviction that experience matters, connection is worth protecting, and nobody is disposable.
