About the author
Ravi Verma is an Indian writer and software engineer whose journey into literature reflects the richness of his upbringing and lived experiences. Born on December 15, 2000, he was raised in an Indian-Tibetan community, moving across various regions of India—primarily hill stations—where his father taught at different branches of the Central School for Tibetans. This exposure to diverse cultures, landscapes, and perspectives shaped Ravi’s deep appreciation for people, nature, and the essence of life.
Inspired early on by his father’s love for writing, Ravi began crafting essays during his school years, earning recognition through competitions and praise for his thoughtful voice. His passion continued to grow during his engineering studies, where he started sharing poetry on Blogspot. Encouraged by family and friends, he ventured into self-publishing, releasing his first book Death: An Indelible Truth in 2017, followed by The Fanzy and The Ron Case, which marked his early explorations as an author.
Over time, Ravi’s writing matured into a more introspective and thematic style, focusing on poetry that explores nature, self-love, healing, and human psychology. His first poetry collection, BREEZE, launched the “Embrace” series in 2018, followed by Sprouts and Aqua. He later introduced the “Unconditional” series with Amour-Propre and Finding Me, centered on personal growth and self-acceptance.
In 2025, Ravi expanded his literary voice with Esse: The Essence of Existence, a reflective work that delves deeper into the philosophical and emotional layers of being, marking a significant evolution in his writing journey.
With a curiosity that continues to expand alongside his love for words, Ravi remains committed to creating theme-driven works that resonate with the core of human experience.
