But weeks after the attack that nearly killed them all, the children are sent back.
Dana never wanted to return to Riverbrook. Now she’s back inside the academy's walls once again. Classes resume. The damage has been repaired. And the new director promises things are different.
But something is still terribly wrong.
Students are disappearing. The experiments may never have stopped. And Dana is seeing someone no one else can see: Dieran, the boy who died at Riverbrook.
Unable to move on, Dieran watches the academy from the shadows—haunted by the mistake that nearly destroyed everything. Including Donovan.
Now, determined to save Dana, Donovan returns to Riverbrook. But when his rescue attempt fails, the consequences are worse than either of them imagined.
As Riverbrook tightens its grip, Donovan and Dieran must work together to get Dana out before the academy claims another victim.
Permanently.
Redeemed is the chilling sequel to Shattered, the first book in The Hexon Code, a YA Dystopian Survival Thriller/Drama series.
