Información sobre este eBook

till Functioning Part II is written for people who live inside that reality.

This is not a book about balance, escape, or waiting for life to calm down. It is for people who continue to carry responsibility at work and at home even when there is no clean ending in sight.

William G. Boundroukas focuses on a problem many capable people rarely name: not simply how much they are doing, but how much they continue to carry after the work is done.

At the center of the book is a simple rule:

If it stays active, it stays heavy.

Through the Responsibility Filter, readers learn to separate what truly belongs to them from what they have absorbed by habit, urgency, guilt, or default.

The filter asks three questions:

Is this mine?

Does this need to be handled now?

What happens if I do not act?

From there, the book examines the hidden cost of becoming the person everyone relies on: constant mental tracking, unfinished loops, divided attention, fatigue, being needed without feeling seen, measuring worth through output, and slowly disappearing inside function.

The goal is not to become less responsible.

It is to become more deliberate.

To stop reacting to everything that appears.

To stop treating every open loop as equally important.

To stop carrying things after your part is finished.

To preserve enough of yourself to remain present in the life you are trying to hold together.

Still Functioning Part II is a practical guide for responsible people who do not need more motivation.

They need separation.

What is yours.

What is not.

What needs you now.

What can wait.

What never should have entered your hands in the first place.

The circumstances may not change.

But the way you carry them can.

Acerca del autor

William G. Boundroukas is an Illinois attorney and author whose work explores responsibility, faith, family, memory, endurance, and the quiet obligations people carry when life does not offer easy answers.

After more than three decades practicing law, Boundroukas began publishing fiction, poetry, and practical nonfiction drawn from the worlds he knows best: professional responsibility, family life, caregiving, loss, faith, and the experience of continuing when stopping is not an option.

His books include literary and Christian fiction, the speculative series The Worlds That Remember, the Still Functioning books, and poetry collections including Still Standing and By What It Does. Though his books move across different genres, they return to a common question: what does it mean to remain present, responsible, and loving when circumstances cannot simply be fixed?

Boundroukas lives and works in the Chicago area. His writing is shaped by his Greek-American background, Orthodox Christian faith, legal career, and life as a husband and father.

He writes not primarily to provide answers, but to recognize the people who continue to carry, witness, love, and stay.
