About this ebook

An ancient tomb. A client who can't get past the magic sealing it. A fortune waiting on the other side.

Shadow and Gabe have faced worse odds — she's a fey warrior with centuries of battle behind her, he's one of seven Nephilim, part-angel warriors with a violent history and millennia trapped in the spirit realm behind them.

When collector Harlan Beckett comes to them with a job — a sealed tomb, a client with deep pockets, and treasure no one else can reach — Shadow and Gabe take it. They're hunters. It's what they do.

But the magic sealing that tomb was put there for a reason.

Inside, something has been waiting. And it's been waiting a very long time.

The first book in the White Haven Hunters series launches with all the action, dark mythology, and razor-sharp wit that fans of White Haven Witches have been asking for — turned up louder, and considerably more dangerous.

Even though this is book 1, it seems to be a sequel of some sort. Not having read the previous book, I had a hard time connecting with any of the characters. Then they did the bad horror movie thing: "Let's leave the ak47s here and hide naked in the abandoned cemetery." "Great idea, the killer will never find us there.". NOOOO! At that point I just lost interest.

Excellent read. This book is the first in a new series spin off from the excellent White Haven Witches series. Tells the story of a Fey woman stranded in our world and who lives and works with seven Nephilim. They choose to work for hunters of arcane and magical items and end up creating dangerous problems for themselves and others. The characters are well written and the storyline fast paced. Just couldn't put this book down! Looking forward to the new book in this series due out soon.

Really enjoyed this. If you're reading white haven witches then pick this up after book 7. You don't have to read them too but it's nice for the build of relationships. This wasn't a standard fay and angel story. Looking forward to the next one.

About the author

My adult urban fantasy series is called White Haven Witches. There’s lots of magic, action, and a little bit of romance. I’ve also written a spin-off called White Haven Hunters.

My YA series, Rise of the King (previously called Tom's Arthurian Legacy), is about a teen called Tom and his discovery that he is a descendant of King Arthur. It's a fun-filled clean read with a new twist on the Arthurian tales.

I've got loads of ideas for future books in both series, including spin-offs, novellas and short-stories, so if you'd like to be kept up to date, subscribe to my newsletter. You'll get free short stories, free character sheets, and other fun stuff. Interested? Subscribe at tjgreen.nz

I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand 14 years ago. England's great, but I'm over the traffic! I now live near Wellington with my partner Jase and my cats Sacha and Leia. When I'm not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.

Confession time! I'm a Star Trek geek - old and new - and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion - Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films - Predator, the original, and Aliens.

In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. On occasions a few of my friends and I make short films, which begs the question, where are the book trailers? I'm thinking on it ...
