Michel Foucault’s writings announce not only that God is dead, but also that man is dying.

He interrogates objects deemed unworthy that have never been taken into account by philosophy. These include crime, madness, sexuality, the excesses of literature and evil. He offers an extraordinary history. Jean-Clet Martin is a philosopher and novelist. A specialist in Derrida and Deleuze, he was program director at the Collège international de philosophie from 1998 to 2004.
