_______
Walking home late at night, aspiring singer Dixie Simmons felt on top of the world.
The following morning, she's found dead.
Thirty years previously, Jeb Jones was convicted of the murder of another young woman. But his lawyer, Rachel Wainwright, is convinced he's innocent.
She just can't persuade the police, particularly charismatic Detective Deke Morgan, whose father worked the original case.
But when the murders continue, and it becomes clear that a serial killer is loose in the city, Deke starts to run out of options.
If the two cases are linked, his father's legacy might be ruined.
But if he doesn't find out the truth, and fast, the killer might just set his sights on Rachel . . .
