About this ebook

Nate Wright is eleven years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for school detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth-grade Renaissance man juggling classes, family, soccer, and school crushes.

Kids everywhere can relate to Nate's daily battle against overzealous teachers, backbreaking homework, wimpy cafeteria food, and all-around conventionality. Join him as he runs for student government, becomes the school sleuth, and relaxes over zingers (and a dash of philosophy) with his friends.

Lincoln Peirce combines sharp humor with dynamic illustrations to create an addictive reading experience kids ages 8-10 love. With its accessible comic-strip format and timeless school situations, Big Nate: From the Top kicks off a series perfect for reluctant readers, independent readers, and fans of fast-moving humor.

Funny middle school stories filled with competition and comic mishaps
Highly illustrated, full-color pages that encourage independent reading
Relatable themes of friendship, confidence, and growing up
Quick-reading comics perfect for reading at home or on the go

Its ok. I mean, Nate can sometimes be a jerk to his friends. But the problem is he doesn't like cats. Who doesn't like cats? 😺
