Grave Errors

A Grayson Knox, Marshal of Magic Urban Fantasy Adventure

He only wanted to bring the dead back. Instead, he called something hungry.

Grayson Knox wanted one quiet night.

That was his first mistake.

When a terrified man bursts into a South Mississippi bar claiming something is hunting pets near an old cemetery, Knox recognizes the signs immediately.

He's a Marshal of Magic, an enforcer of the supernatural laws that keep witches, necromancers, ghosts, and magical creatures from turning the human world into chaos.

And this isn't a wild animal.

It's a ghoul.

Actually, it's three of them.

After a brutal fight leaves two ghouls dead and another fleeing toward an ancient crypt, Knox discovers something far more disturbing than a pack of hungry undead.

Someone is controlling them.

Inside the crypt, Knox finds Julian, a desperate young practitioner attempting an illegal resurrection. He believes he can bring back the woman he loved.

But resurrection magic has rules.

And the dead don't always come back alone.

When Julian's ritual collapses, the crypt erupts with hungry ghouls, forcing Knox into a desperate supernatural battle involving forbidden necromancy, unstable magic, a deadly alpha ghoul—and a ghostly Watcher named Elvis who has absolutely no intention of staying out of the fight.

But defeating the monsters is only part of Knox's problem.

Because Julian isn't a monster.

He's grieving.

And Knox understands that better than anyone.

Now the Marshal must decide whether to send a young practitioner to face the Judge for illegal necromancy and supernatural crimes...

or give him a second chance.
