A Spirit of Prayer: Eight Things God Does When You Pray

In this bold, faith-filled book, Pastor Kevin Ortiz opens a window into the supernatural power of a simple, surrendered life of prayer. Drawing from Scripture, real-life stories, and decades of Holy Spirit–led ministry, he shows that prayer is far more than a religious routine—it is the place where God Himself steps into your world.

In these pages you will discover how prayer:

Knits families, marriages, and churches together in unity

Unlocks clear instruction from the Holy Spirit for everyday decisions

Invites the Helper to pray through you in your weakness

Releases power and boldness to share Jesus and minister to the sick

Shifts atmospheres, cities, and even storms

Becomes a refuge of rest and strength for a weary soul

Brings healing to spirit, soul, and body

Births God-given vision and launches you into your destiny

Whether you’re just starting your walk with God or hungry for a deeper life in the Spirit, this book will stir a fresh desire to pray—and to expect God to move when you do. You were not made for a normal, prayerless life. You were created to walk with God, hear His voice, and partner with Him.

Let a spirit of prayer come upon you, and watch what God does.
