Very much enjoyed this book, it's a political thriller with a unique setting. The twist ending was entertaining but telegraphed really. I would say this is worth a read

Like a lot of the more recent Robert Harris books I was more educated than entertained and the plot is quite basic. It is still an interesting read though

Very interesting. The ending reminded me of a film I watched many years ago titled Pope Joan. The only apostle who would recognise this institution if he returned today would be John because he was shown it in a vision and described it in Revelation 17.
