No One Believes Me

'Weaver's books are unputdownable. If you haven't yet met Raker, you're in for a treat' MICK HERRON

My name is Jessica.

On the day I nearly die, I spend the morning with my husband, Michael, and my three-year-old son, Rory. They wave me off to work and I tell them that I love them.

Then a van comes out of nowhere and smashes into my car.

I’m in a coma for four weeks.

When I wake up and ask where Michael and Rory are, my entire life shatters.

Everyone tells me I’m not a mother and never have been.

They tell me I’ve never been married, that the house I shared with Michael and Rory is occupied by someone else, and that the life I lived isn’t mine but an episode triggered by the accident.

I tell them it can’t be true, it isn’t true, but all the evidence is against me.

That’s when I call missing persons investigator, David Raker. He tells me he will find the truth.

But he never turns up to our meeting.

Because now David Raker has gone missing, too.

How do you find a life that never existed when the only man who believes you has vanished?
