This book captured everything I love about mythology: epic quests, divine conflict, and timeless love. The prose was lyrical, the world-building flawless. I’ll be thinking about this story for a long time.

This is a GOOD little (very) short story!!! 01/25/26: I reread this this short story and I changed my mind...this story is better than GOOD...it's an EXCELLENT little read!!! The ending, although unexpected, was Great!!! It also has a very important life lesson... You should NEVER TRUST anyone you just met in a bar...or anywhere else for that matter!!!
