Alan A. Winter

Alan A. Winter's first novel, "Someone Else's Son" was groundbreaking when it tackled babies switched at birth. Until its release, this topic had been thought impossible and that "it never happens." Time has proven otherwise. Because the issues of lost identity and Nature vs. nurture are timeless, Someone Else's Son is being reissued in its original form to coincide with Alan's latest novel, "Savior's Day."In addition to "Savior's Day," (a novel that explores why the Mossad is afraid to solve the mystery of the missing pages of the oldest Bible ever written and how this ancient parchment will effect the Mideast Peace Process) Alan has also published, "Snowflakes in the Sahara," (a novel that tackles global warming and is seen through the eyes of Carly Mason, a forensic dentist, who uncovers a White House plot to sieze Canada as the US looks to expand in its quest for new resources).Alan graduated from Rutgers College, New Brunswick with an honor's degree in history, and went on to have a career as a periodontist, earning his dental degree from NYU and completing his advanced training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and from Columbia School of Dental Medicine. Board-certified, he founded and edited an award winning dental journal, published more than twenty scientific articles, lectures frequently, and has been an associate professor at the dental colleges of both NYU and Columbia. To help foster his writing career, Alan was trained as a forensic dentist at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Bethesda. Alan maintains his periodontal practice in NYC and lives in his native New Jersey.
