Ken and Bison, round after round, on your wrist.
This animated watch face is a choreographed bout inspired by the arcade classic Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, fought in the courtyard of Bison's temple in Thailand. Every 20 seconds the two rivals square up and fight it out with the moves you remember:
• Bison's scissor kick meets Ken's guard
• Ken's roundhouse kick hits Bison's guard
• Bison sweeps, and Ken jumps clear
• Ken's Hadoken catches Bison
• Bison answers with a head stomp
• Ken blocks Bison's Psycho Crusher
• Bison jumps in, Ken meets him with a Shoryuken, and Bison goes down for the KO
• Ken celebrates his win, fist in the air
The supplied arcade sprites are choreographed into a 20-second loop at 15 frames per second, with hit sparks, block sparks and Ken's fireball.
The HUD is the game's, redrawn in crisp pixel lettering:
• The clock on top, in the round timer's big figures, following your 12/24-hour setting
• Ken's health bar is your battery
• Bison's health bar is the steps left to your goal, and it empties as you walk
• KO flashes in the middle once you reach your step goal
• KEN and M.BISON under the bars, then the date and today's steps
The fight follows the clock, so wherever you look the bout is exactly where the time says it should be.
In always-on mode the fight goes dark and only a dim clock stays lit, gently shifting position to protect your screen.
