In the world of education that continues to develop, the search for effective teaching methods is never-ending. Technology is becoming more advanced, learning media and even methods are becoming more interesting. Even now, offline learning uses interesting learning media, namely multimodal learning. According to Kress and van Leeuwen (2006, 2020) multimodal learning is learning that relies on the use of various types of media and teaching tools such as: visual, auditory, reading/writing and practice. Multimodal learning is one that makes use of different media learning types, or what are known as semiotic modes, such as kinesthetic, visual, and auditory. Each media can be enhanced and complemented with this learning. Multimodal learning is frequently used in applications with a variety of technologies, including TV media, YouTube, Zoom, PowerPoint, learning apps downloaded on smartphones, and other items.

was born in Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. She completed her elementary school, junior and senior high school in Palembang, South Sumatra. After she finished her senior high school at SMA Negeri 22 Palembang, she continued her undergraduate study at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, South Sumatra majoring in English Education. Since 2021, she has dedicated herself to teaching English privately and opening English lessons in her own home.

was born in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. He did his elementary, junior and senior high schools in Palembang. In Palembang, he also did his undergraduate study at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University majoring in English Education. He did his diploma degree in English Language Teaching and Administration and master degree in English for Specific Purposes at Warwick University, England in 1988 and 1989 respectively. He also did his doctorate degree in England and completed it in 1998 at London University.
